- There's a gunman at loose in Australia!
He shot 3 people at Flinders Street (which is in the city where it's pretty packed) causing 1 dead, 1 in critical condition (in intensive care) and 1 in critical but stable condition. Gosh.. never expected this to happen in Australia. I always thought Australia is a rather safe place to be in.
I have been to flinders street and the subway is located there. imagine the crowd in the morning when he fire!
I think that gunman might still be in melbourne cos he abandoned 2 of his cars in Victoria. (which is where wilfred lives!) but well, Victoria is so so big. who knows where is he now? He's a wanted man now. he was also probably responsible for firing shots at a truck factory in the city's north a week ago too! He was also involved in the "Ballroom Blitz'' bikie gang shootout on the Gold Coast last March!
friends in Australia and still do not know how that guy look like, this photo is for you. Please do not approach him cos he is most probably armed!
Wanted man : Christopher Wayne Hudson
I miss Wilfred!
No photos yet cos can't upload. wait on!

- What do you think of those young (say, 13-15 years old) girls who are hired by “modeling agencies” to look for “potential” models?
You noticed that I “” for the words modeling agencies and potential. That is because, I don’t really think it’s any modeling agency which focuses on searching for real potential models for commercials etc. I have friends who have experienced this before and they were so convinced by the agency that they signed a contract to pay for their personal portfolio, make-up courses, cosmetics etc. It is pretty obvious that the particular agency might just be using “modeling agency” as a cover. Their main income might be through sales of cosmetics. Sadly, I think there were many who fell for it. (please girls, look in the mirror and ask yourself. Are you really the modeling type cos from what I see, those people simply just ask every girl for their contact.) If the agencies really are finding potential models, they will hire their professional talent scout rather than those few young girls who might not even know what is good-looking and suitable for modeling (be it stage models or photo’s)
I really can’t stand it. I used to feel very happy after being scouted and rejected all offers. But now, I feel that someone should put a stop to it if it’s really not modeling that they offer.
Well, by the way, to those who watched pirates, do you know that after all the credits, there’s still a scene whereby the son of Elizabeth and Will appear. Haha… they actually have a son! Looks like pirates series will continue for quite some time.
I miss a lot of food in Singapore and I have satisfied most of my cravings today. Thanks to Maggie! Sinful! I ate so much today! And, it’s all the oily stuffs! Argh!
Happened to bump in LingXiang today at Bugis. Girl, you didn’t change much but you seemed to have grown thinner. Eat more! Have a safe trip to India tomorrow. And, may everything be smooth-sailing there. Hope to meet up soon!
Looks like have to catch up with so many people that I don’t know where to start! Gosh… There are so many guy friends enlisting to NS later and also the next coming weeks/months! It’s time for them to become the real man. If I were a man, I would try my best to get into the commando unit thou I know it’s gonna be tough. Tough times will make one tougher! Furthermore, I can train up and get a good pretty 6 pacs/ toned up boday build. (Say only la.. If I really become a man, I doubt I will still think this way. LOL)
Good luck to those who are enlisting! I am sure you will gain a lot from this journey!
And oh… Wilfred’s is having his 2nd paper of the semester tomorrow morning! I hope god will bless him. I hope he will not panic or forget important notes. I hope the paper would be fairly easy for him to complete. I hope he would have the strength and power to go through the 3hours paper. Best of luck DBB! Muahh… I know you can do it!
I realized that there are many replays of old Singapore’s dramas in Channel 8 nowadays. I personally think most of them are really good. (I meant the acting skills) Perhaps, you should try watching one episode one day.
I’m missing DBB. All the time. L

- I am back in Singapore. Kinda regretted forwarding my flight for graduation but I think it is still a good choice cos I won’t be able to distract Wilfred. It’s time to study hard for exams!
The flight back was smooth but pretty slow as compared to the journey to Mel. That is maybe because I dread going back to Singapore? :D Couldn’t stop feeling bored on the plane. I kept switching movies to watch because every movie feels boring to me.
Singapore is a gigantic oven! I never knew Singapore’s temperature is so high! (or should I say, I didn’t know I can feel such a big difference in the temperature in Singapore as compared to Mel) I can’t breathe for a few moments. Plus Plus Plus… It’s so humid! Making me feel hot, stuffy and all sticky. Eww..
I was happy to finally see my parents. (Even happier to see that they love the gift I personally picked for them)
I met up with Maggie the next day for shopping and mainly eating. I miss McSpicy burger and many more…Hate Singapore’s weather.
Yesterday was graduation day. Finally, officially graduated from NP! Wow.. Nicely decorated convention centre for graduation ceremony. Not bad.. I still think the robe looks weird. (can they get some student designers to design? At least students design would fit our taste)
I saw many course mates who I kinda lost contact with right after last day of school. I wonder how all of us will change in the future. Will we still keep in contact? Oh well, let nature takes its course. (Supposed to go shopping on sat with Vell, KL, Terry etc for D&D attire)
Gonna catch pirates tomorrow!
Blogging can be so useless and boring. (maybe it just applies to me) It’s just a site which you spend time writing your daily events, feelings, thoughts etc.
Pictures will be up laters!

- I went to Smith Street today! Need to grab something for my sister and I bought her a bag. Hope she will like it cos I love the design of it. (wanted to get it for myself) I guess our taste are not that far off.
Smith Street is far from home and I walked there alone under windy condition. It’s freezing cold out of home. Hate it. But anyway, Smith Street is a street in Fitzroy where you can find most of the sports brands with it’s product under-priced. :D (from NIKE to Brooks) However, I have only got a pair of designer shoes from there. Nice and neat.
In less than an hour, I headed home. Need to drop the items before meeting the rest for dinner at Pacific House again. (Simply can’t resist the food there) I realized that the attitude of the staffs in Pacific House sucksX10 and HK told me that, “ their business is so good! They can lose any customer. Look, there are so many people outside queueing and dying to eat here!” (He didn’t said these exact words but it brings out the same meaning) heh.. There really is a long queue and luckily we were smart enough to call and book first. (we’re experienced customer of pacific house)
This dinner is somewhat like a farewell dinner for me. J so touched cos all of them have papers to study for and yet fork out some time for this dinner. Furthermore, they even took time to buy me white roses (my favourite :D), a present and a beautifully decorated meaningful card! I’m really touched.. Thanks so much to Dhatch, Esther and David! Study hard and good luck for your papers! Rmb to drop by S’pore and I’ll bring you around. I love the roses, teddy and card.
KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Wilfred encountered this problem in bidding for one of his bottle. I find it pretty ridiculous.
The situation is…
the bottle was listed in Yahoo Auction Japan.
The seller will not ship internationally.
Payment must be made through Japan bank transfer.
The worst part is that Yahoo Japan is in Japanese language and
only buyers with a Yahoo Japan account can bid items!
Is Japanese trying to close its door to overseas buyers?
I don’t know man… Some say they are just too lazy to ship items overseas. But, I think maybe they just want to sell good things to their own people. (Selfish?) Or maybe they are not so good with English Language and therefore, can’t communicate with international buyers. Lotsa reason but I guess all applies.
It’s pretty unfair if Japanese can buy things from other countries but others have to find a difficult way to get things out of Japan. Luckily, there’s some sort of a middleman “occupation” (or what the heck you call it). The middleman will communicate with the seller, bid the item, pay the item, ship the item to buyer. Of course, they will charge for this service. (smart business!) Just by switching hands, middleman can earn some money. Not bad at all! Maybe we can start to consider learning Jap, migrate to Jap, and start this kinda middleman job. Hah..
I’m going back to SG so soon… I hope to visit Australia again maybe next year. Hopefully Uni isn’t that stress as how people describe.

- Winter is nearing! It’s becoming very cold walking in the streets, especially at night.
Some say June marks the end of autumn and start of winter. I guess it’s quite right.
We went to Chadstone Shopping Centre yesterday to do some last shopping (for gifts). Chadstone is pretty far from Melbourne city. We took tram and then train and then walk and walk and walk till we reach.
It’s a huge shopping centre with 2 main anchor tenants (Myer and David Jones). The concept resembles VivoCity in Singapore but it is way bigger than Vivo. Australia has vast pieces of land you see.
We had a tiring day of rushing around and thinking of the gifts to get. (Mainly shopping for our dads, mums and sis-s) Lunch was at Nandos. Their charcoal grilled chicken…yum.. Economically priced and delicious! If only they have it in Singapore. I heard that KL has it but it’s different from Australia’s and therefore, not as delicious.
The worst thing about shopping in Australia is the closing time of shops. They close at 5pm! So early!! In Singapore, 5pm is like the prime time for people to shop and have dinner but in Australia, majority of the shops close at 5pm! Goodness… (Now you know why I say rushing to shop) It was a fruitful shopping trip to get almost all the gifts needed.
ü My and his mums’ gift (Mocha)
ü My sis’s gift (I think I’ll have to get more)
ü His sis’s wedding gift (souvenir shop)
ü Aunts’ gift (David Jones/Myer? I forgot.)
X Both Dads’ gift. (settled today at Melbourne city’s David Jones)
X His younger sis’s gift (pending)
It’s a big headache to shop for guys’ stuff. They have too little variety to choose. Unlike females, we have a large variety from clothes to shoes to accessories. It’s especially challenging to shop for men above the age of 40. They don’t wear accessories, they go for things that are a bit more expensive (cos they can afford) and they cannot accept trendy stuffs. We had a hard time choosing that 2 gifts (for dads’) and finally settle it.
After Chadstone, we went to Holmesglen for Korean food. The best I have ever tried. Singapore’s Korean restaurant loses to this small cozy eating house. We ate the baby squid and rice cake noodles. (Thinking of it makes me hungry again) Previously, we ate beef and chicken which is quite common but the serving is big.
As usual, took train back. We waited 30 minutes for the train in an open space station. It’s so cold that we can see cold vapor (you know, like smoke. What do we call it? Mist? Cold vapor? Fog?) coming out of our mouth and nostrils as we talk.
It’s gonna be stay home these few days cos his exams are really near. (Just after I leave)
I think I’ll go Fitzroy these few days and I must start packing up. Flight is on Sunday.
I can’t wait to give mum, dad, sis and aunts presents.
I can’t wait to wear shorts and walk under scorching sun.
I can’t wait to eat Singapore’s foods.
But, I don’t wanna leave this kinda free life.
