- I miss Vietnam!! I wanna go again!! A few months back Wilfred, me and 2 of his friends (both age 40 and above) went to Vietnam and we love it! ( The 2 aunties might not like it but both Wilfred and me definitely wish to be there again or perhaps to Hanoi since we've already visited HCM. But, I know we won't be able to travel for at least the next 8 months or so cos Wilfred will soon be starting work bla bla bla with the probation period bla bla bla so how to take leave? =(
Oh well! At least we had quite abit of fun for the past year! We have travelled to 3 different countries together within this one and a half years. 3 months to Melbourne, 1 week to Thailand, 1 week plus to Vietnam. Personally, I love the Vietnam trip most and I don't know why is that so. I can't imagaine myself being borned in Vietnam thou. Think about it, no convenience store in sight or anywhere near the hotel. Lets say, you happen to have your menses and you don't happen to have any more pads... OMFG where's the NEAREST STORE?! hahaha.. you can only get it at some store in their shopping mall. And, how many shopping malls are there in HCM? Not many, really. Nonetheless, HCM is a place worth going. Definitely, escpecially before it establish to become a place like Singapore where kids know nothing about playing marbles, hopscotch or even 5 stones anymore. It's the psp and DS lite which occupies most of many children's childhood memories. Pretty sad.
Talking about Vietnam.. I remember my most fearful thing before arriving there was their traffic. Friends kept telling me that the trafiic there is horrifying and it requires alot of courage to brave across a street. It is in fact, horrifying and very noisy! Basically, every household in HCM owns at least 4 motorcycles. You just have to multipy and put the numbers on the roads and you know what i'm talking about. LOL. Everytime Wilfred and me cross any road, our hands will be so tightly held and our palms will perspire split seconds before we cross even the shortest distance.
I think everyone whould go Vietnam at least once within this 5 years. =)
Festive season is right up and i'm pretty happy and excited as it's time to get together again! Christmas would be a gathering with friends. New Year and Chinese New Year would usually with family. This year's New Year Eve Countdown would be something different and new for both Wilfred an me cos I have got tixs to Mediecorp countdown party at Vivo! A part of me looking forward to it while another part of me dread to be in the CROWD.
I think i will blog again soon! Our bunnies have given birth! Anyone wanna but Netherland Dwarfs? LOL..
