- Many many activities these few days especially after Wilfred arrive in Singapore for his winter break. These includes meeting up with polymates for supper at jln kayu (I think so. It’s that place where it’s famous for roti prata in the night I guess.), food tasting for his sis’s wedding at the Grand Copthorne, shopping before the GST increment, visit HX’s push cart at United Square, visit Uncle Jon at China Square for his bottle etc etc.
I didn’t try any food during the supper outing thou but managed to do some catching up with KL, KZ, Terry and Mark. Time flies. I still remember how we all started out in poly. Terry was known as 98/100 (or 99/100) cos he got 98 or 99 for the Law paper! Mark and Keng Zee are known to be quiet. To me, Khailing looks like an “ah lian” and always skipping lectures. In fact, she’s super caring and great to get along with. We should never judge a book by its cover! There are many more people who I crossed paths with in polytechnic. I am very happy to have shared many moments of happiness with them (every single one) although there are many misunderstandings along the years which have caused a drift in our friendship. I really do hate people who try to break friendships! (That’s also no wonder why that particular person always fail in relationships)I guess many of us will drift apart in time to come when NS start for guys and work/school starts for girls. All of us will spend so much time in making money / pursuing more certificates that we will ultimately lose the most precious thing in life. That is friends. Do friends really come and go, buddy Edwin? Well, I guess so. Many of mine came and went off. To them, I did the same thing (came into their life and went off). I told myself I have to put in more effort in maintaining friendships now.
Alright back to activities. Food tasting was quite grand. (You can call me a “mountain tortoise” cos I have never eaten in a decorated private room so big and posh which faces the Singapore River and served by 2 personal waitresses). I love the scallops, herbs prawns and some more (which I forgot). Nothing much about food tasting. (Not really interested cos it’s not my wedding. Hahas)
Oh and my best friend HX is selling clothes! How cool is that! I used to sell clothes. Set up and online boutique but shut it down in less than a month cos I cannot be committed to it. (too much school work then) Now that my friend is doing it (which means she’s interested), we can partnership! Hurray! But not so soon. NUS starting soon!! Damn. School is always hindering me!
Summon! First time I get summon! I got it for changing lanes on double white line. This lesson cost me 4 demerit points and $130 fine! I can go shopping with that money! “ KT, don’t be discouraged! Please be more careful next time, now you know that there’s a double white line THERE. These are nothing but just lessons. It’s good to learnt something especially when you’re under probation…” I won’t be discouraged people! *Thanks BB for your encouragement! Loves.
Good news! I master parking within a few tries! Vertical parking I meant. Parallel… hahas.
Many things I miss. I miss fishing, prawning, swimming etc etc.
I skipped NUS camp! Bad bad girl I am.
Been spending alot these days. I just bought a laptop. BenQ Joybook S32. pretty in white! I love white! Wilfred bought HTC PDA phone and alot of stuffs. gosh a few k we spent. But, retail therapy feels good. :)
