Fatigue
Exams, time management, relationships etc etc. Recently, there are so many complex thing happening in my life. It's very tiring. Things will never go the right way especially during my exam period. For a couple of times, it's either I fell ill or some personal stuff will affect me. (Somehow it didn't affect my results. Hopefully, this time round too.




Orchard road is so pretty now with all the blue litted decorations stretching from trees to trees. J Time to bring a few friends and a camera along to orchard road!





It's time to move my thoughts away from what's bothering for the past 1 month. It's time to be distracted by some other stuff. :D





One more paper and I'll be free…!!!





Okay, I think I'll blog again soon. My sore throat is killing me and I think I'm running a fever with a little flu. L I guess the weather is the culprit!

Anna Sui's new scent!
FLIGHT OF FANCY
I love this scent! But, i know there will be thousands of people using this perfume (which is not special anymore) so i'm not gonna get it. It's really nice though. You should check it out at any SaSa outlet or any dealers which sells Anna Sui's scent. I'm still loving my current one ; Anna Sui Secret Wish :)

Study hard for those who have papers coming in a few days time!

I have this feeling i will have to retake some of my modules. : especially statistics! killer...

EXAM PERIOD IS NEARING!!




Some of us are having the most stressful time of the year now due to exams! Good luck to all no matter where you are! From Singapore to Melbourne to Sydney to Queensland to Brisbane and even to friends in L.A.

Been enjoying myself these few days before mugging hard for upcoming papers. Met up with old friends and even new ones. :)

It's not easy to decide on giving things up. It's really not. But, that's the best way for now.

"Embracing the City"



Don't you just love Singapore? We are small in size but full of life. We are clean and green. We have different races, different cultures, different religions living together harmoniously. And, when we thought we ran out of land to build on, we started to reclaim land. Then, we'll become larger and there will be an increase in volume of migrants into Singapore. Things will become more complicated with more and more cultures, religions and races trying to tolerate with one another's "nonsenses". Ha.. alright bullshit.
We just hope to see less gays and les forming. They are usually the good-looking ones right? :D
Anyway,
statistics test 2 is finally over and yea i'm gonna flunk it! ha.. bad news aside! Esther, YanYan and me went out after the test! Finally... time to put school work aside.
Esther and me went to IKEA for meatballs while waiting for Yan Yan to end her lessons. Don't drool...








And, we saw these AngMo kids playing. the little one is really cute!!! can't capture her face thou. She's really cute!


Thereafter, we went to the movie section which is seemingly catered to kids. Well, Tom and Jerry is really dumb. That's all I have to comment on that. But, dumb things make me smile.

A caucasion came over to me at OneFullerton and asked for directions to Boat Quay. conversation below:
Mike: Do you know the way to Boat Quay?
Me: Oh, you have to get across and walk through there (points opposite)
Mike: Ah, so i have to cross the road.
Me: (Smile) yes.
Mike: (walked off a few steps and turned back) Thanks, I'm going for a drink. Can i invite you for a drink?
Me: Oh thanks but I'm with my friends [went to the toilet]
Mike: i see.. so what's your name?
Me: Jaymie. And you're?
Mike: I'm Mike. (shake hands) So are you Singaporean? [do i not look like one?]
Me: yes I'm. So where are you from? [cos obviously he don't look and sound local]
Mike: I'm from Australia but I'm a mixed.... bla bla bla [i kinda felt tired and drifted off while he continues to explain his 'origins']
Me: ah, i see i see. So, you been in Singapore for some time? [thought he's a tourist since he's asking for directions]
Mike: oh no, i owned a resturant over there (points to one of the restuarant at OneFullerton) I came over for 1 and a half years. [And you don't know how to go over to boat quay!?]
Me: Oh i see..
Mike: I'm the boss and also the chef. [oh wow, are you sure?? then why don't you drive to boat quay??] Maybe be you could come and try someday. just give me a call. ( fishes for namecard from his messy looking wallet) Oh i ran out of it [expected]
Me: oh sure, i'll bring my friend along someday. So, what cusine do you serve?
Mike: Come let me show you which restuarant. Oh, we serve Mediteranian cuisine.
Me: oh okay [we walked about 10 steps and he pointed to me]
Mike: so are you with your boyfriend? [your business?]
Me: oh no, i'm waiting for my friend.
Mike: oh so do you have a boyfriend?
Me: Yes i do have.
Mike: ah i see..
Me: ya... [lost of topic since im attached huh?]
Mike: (smiles at me with some kinda look which i don't know how to explain. no the perverted look thou.) Alright, do drop by someday ok?
Me: ya sure sure no prob.
Mike: right, can i have your number? [expected]

Mike: I ran out of it (shows me his messy wallet)

I don't think he dont know the way to Boat Quay. I don't think he's the boss but I do believe he's someone in the kitchen.
